All About Haberberger’s Service Department

Haberberger, Inc. has been a service-oriented business since its beginnings as a one-man shop out of Frank Haberberger’s basement in the 1950’s and has grown to over 20 service technicians from Pipefitters Local Union 562. The Haberberger service department performs mechanical repairs and service on all different types of equipment, whether process or HVAC. Haberberger’s service department gives every project the same attention to detail and high level of quality that the construction department does, to ensure performance on time, every time.
Mark Haberberger, part of the third generation of Haberberger, is the Service Manager. Jaime Reich is the dispatcher, who handles the day to day activities of the service fleet. Jaime receives calls from our clients and schedules maintenance and repair. Joe Ryan, Director of Service, handles the technical concerns of our clients and service technicians. Joe also leads the temperature controls portion of the company by setting up and implementing control monitoring, repairs and replacements. John Gallia, Dean Aubuchon and Pat Ledbetter are Service Representatives for the department. Their primary role is to work with clients to find solution for their HVAC needs, whether it is planned maintenance or repair. In addition to his service representative responsibilities, John works on design/build projects for both the service and construction departments.
The Haberberger service group performs small to moderate HVAC, process, medical gas and refrigeration piping projects. The service technicians are trained to repair and replace pumps, boilers, chillers, RTUs and AHUs and perform backflow preventer testing, repairs and replacement. Haberberger also offers temperature controls service and installation for building automation.

Planned maintenance programs are an important part of what the service department offers to clients. Planned maintenance can prevent catastrophic failures, reduce break downs and increase energy efficiency, which leads to cost reductions. These programs can be tailored to specific customer needs and can give longevity to equipment and improve dependability of customers’ operations.

Being signatory to the Pipefitters Local Union 562 and a part of the National Certified Pipe Welding Bureau, Haberberger’s, service department performs welded pipe and equipment repairs as well as ASME Code repairs or alterations for boilers, chillers and tanks. The Haberberger craftsmen have welding and brazing qualifications for a variety of materials such as copper, carbons steel, stainless steel, and nickel and chrome alloys.
